Bag Limits
The bag limits which the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society will recommend to the Department of Internal Affairs to be enforced in the 1948 season are the same as those in force last season. Fifteen head of duck, all species, may be taken. This includes a limit bag of 10 grey and spoonbill duck combined, and a limit bag of five paradise duck. Recommended limits on other kinds of fowl are:—pukeko, 20 head; Californian quail, 10 head; chukor, 10 head; cock pheasants, 3 head; black swan and Canadian geese, no limit
