AUSTRALIAN WHEAT CROP
a*. , SYDNEY, December 10. If the persistent rain of the past few weeks continues, unprecedented problems will have to be solved in moving Australia’s record wheat crop. New South Wales Weather Bureau officials see no relief from the weather, and the latest predictions are that, with a possible fine break next weekend, the rain will continue for at least 10 days. Extensive damage has now been caused by the record rainfall in parts of New South Wales. The heaviest storm on record in northern NevSouth Wales brought down 572 points of rain in 90 minutes. Giant hailstones in other parts have cut crops to pieces.
