AID FOR BRITAIN
SB, — New Zealand has thrashed the slogan “Help for Britain.” According to published reports. New Zealand spends millions more dollars than she earns. If so, the logical conclusion must be that war-worn Britain must be helping New Zealand; and it is time that we realised the fact, altered our slogan and helped ourselves instead of holding on to Mother’s apron strings.—Yours, etc., PIONEER’S SON.
