GOLD QUILL PEN FOR REGISTER
A gold pen. fashioned as a quill, will be used by Princess Elizabeth to sign the register at her marriage to Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten to-day. The pen was presented to Her Royal Highness by the head office of the Chartered institute of Secretaries on behalf of its branches throughout the Empire, and sent to Buckingham Palace on November 5. The King and Queen used the pen presented by the institute when they signed the register at their marriage.
