TRADE AGREEMENTS CONCLUDED
Commonwealth And U.S. SEVEN PACTS MADE BY NEW ZEALAND

The preparatory committee of the International Trade Conference announced to-day that Britain and the United States had concluded a bilateral trade agreement. Details will be published on November 18. New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa had also completed bilateral agreements with the United States. Altogether more than 100 bilateral pacta are announced. All are subject to Parliamentary approval. The Associated Press says that the pairing indicates that the united States has obtained some concessions on Empire preferences and has granted some concessions on imports including wool. The correspondent adds that New Zealand has concluded agreements also with Belgium, Chile, France, India. Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Australia has completed agreements with Belgium, China, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, France India, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. ’
