RANDOLPH CHURCHILL’S LECTURES
Sir, —After a careful survey of Mr R. Churchill’s lectures one is forced to the conclusion that he is like a petulant, spoilt child, who wants everyone to think and do as he does. His lectures were entirely destructive, with no hint of love or humane feeling towards his fellow men. His desire to stir up mass hatred of Russia, coupled with his deeo concern at. the Nazi executions. leaves one cold and repulsed; also, his unsporting attitude towards the watersiders. after criticising them so severely, and his contempt for debating opinion other than his own, casts a slur on our password—“democracy.”—Yours. etc., October 27. 1947.
