Draughts Tournament.—The twelfth round was reached on Tuesday in the North Island draughts tournament with G. Gardiner (Nelson) maintaining his unbeaten record with 20 wins and 4 draws. W. Davis (Wellington) was next. He won 16, lost 4, and drew 4. Positions at the end of the twelfth round were: Gardiner 22. Davis 18, Johnstone (Palmerston North) 16, Mulvey (Nelson) 15, Gilhoolv (Dannevirke) ,15, Hare (Auckland) 15, Lowry (Christchurch) 12J. Cunningham (Auckland) 12, Lyall (Wanganui) 12.
