Lewis Pass Road Clear.— Both routes from Canterbury to the West Coast are now again open for traffic and there ls a° need for the use of chains on either the Lewis Pass or the Otira Gorge route. Snow was cleared off the Lewis Pass yesterday afterfioon, and a grader cleared the Otira Gorge route. Motorists are advised to drive carefully near Porter’s Pass.
