RECONSTRUCTION OF CABINET

DIFFICULTIES FACED BY MR ATTLEE REPORTED RELUCTANCE OF MINISTERS (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, October 4. The Prime Minister (Mr Attlee) is reported to be encountering considerable difficulty in the reconstruction of his Cabinet. The diplomatic correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that certain senior Ministers who had agreed t© take new post? have become restive on discovering that their activities were to be co-ordinated in groups under other Ministers.
