Extra Buses for Race Meeting.— Eight of the Christchurch Tramway Board’s buses were used, in addition to .he Railways Road Services’ vehicles, to take racegoers to the Methven Trotting Club’s meeting at Methven on Saturday. Drivers for the Tramway Board’s vehicles were supplied by the Road Services, as the tramway board cannot operate vehicles outside its own area.
