LAMBERT—On October 3, at Lyttelton, Steven Martin, beloved husband of Matilda Lambert, Bridle path, Lyttelton; in his 83rd year. (Suddenly.) MILLER—On October 3, 1947, at Christchurch, Emily (Cis), beloved wife of David Ritchie Miller, 95 South Crescent road, Addington; in her 71st year. RUSSELL—On October 3, 1947, at the Burwood Hospital, Herbert Russell, of 18 St. James avenue, Papanui; in his 80th year. Private interment. John Rhifid.
