The appointment of the Mayor of Auckland (Mr J. A. C. Allum) as a representative of the Municipal Association of New Zealand on the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council was announced in a Gazette yesterday. The term of his appointment is until June, 1952.—(P.A.)
