EARTHQUAKE IN PERSIA
LONDON, OCTOBER 1. '‘Rescuers have recovered 170 dead and 58 seriously injured from the wreckage of the earthquake in the village of Dowlatabad,” says the British United Press correspondent in Teheran. “Every house was destroyed. The «are staying in the fields because amors are continuing. “The earthquake caused severe damage in other villages, where at least 20 are dead and 50 injured.”
