HEALTH STAMP SALES BEGIN.—There was heavy buying when the annual health stamp campaign opened in Christchurch yesterday. At the “Glenelg” health camp a special post office was opened for the sale of stamps and marking of first-day covers. Mrs C. M. Boxs (shown above), a member of the committee and also a keen philatelist, bought 500 stamps and covers and posted them to centres as far away as Holland. Other helpers also addressed letters to collectors in many parts of the world.
