STATEMENT BY MR GANDHI
NEW DELHI. September 29. Mr Gandhi, in a statement at a grayer meeting, said that Mr hurchill. by his references to India in his London speech had rendered a disservice to Britain. He said to-night that in his own spoken references to the possibilities of war between Pakistan and India there had been no incitement or approval of war. “Every ounce of my energy is being devoted to the avoidance of fratricide culminating in war.”
