ROAD SIGNS
Sir, —Yesterday, while cycling in the country round Christchurch, I was appalled by the lack of signposts at side ! roads and junctions. Coming from a I district where each road is properly labelled, I was very inconvenienced iby the lack of directions. New Zealand is reputed to have the best road directions in the world. This standard was certainly not based on the Christchurch district.—Yours, etc., LOST AND DISILLUSIONED. September 29, 1947.
