LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
CHANGES IN LABOUR CANDIDATES
Candidates for local body elections in November to replace, those who withdrew recently were selected by the North Canterbury Labour- Representation Committee last evening. In the contest for the Lyttelton Harbour Hoard Mr T. Martin replaces Mr J. Mathison, M.P., and in the North Canlerbury Hospital Board list of candidates Mr H. Tritt replaces Mr Mathison. Mr D. B. Sinclair, who will not now contest a seat on the North Canterbury Catchment Board because of ill-health, has been replaced by Mr J. Shankland;
