PLANE ARRIVES TO AID INDONESIANS _ ... „ BATAVIA, August 26. ine Indian Red Cross was prepared ™ send a i_ full y-equipped and staffed 1000-bed hospital to Jogjakarta, said Dr. P. L. Nirula, leader of a Red Cross team which flew to Jogjakarta in an Indian Red Cross aeroplane today. The Chinese Consul-General at Batavia accompanied the Red- Cross teain to investigate the condition of the Chinese in the republic. The aeroplane carried medical supplies which are urgently needed for thousands of sick and wounded Indonesians.
