ADMISSION TO F.A.O.
ACTION DEFERRED ON SPAIN (Rec. 7 p.m.) GENEVA, August 26. The Food and Agriculture Organisation decided not to take any action at present on the Spanish application for admission. It admitted Austria, Finland, and Siam. It suspended the rule requiring 90 days.’ notice of application for membership to enable the delegates to consider to-morrow the admission of Pakistan and Burma, who applied yesterday.
