Dr. T. O. Enticott, of the staff of the Cashmere Sanatorium, has been appointed assistant-medical director of the sanatorium, subject to the approval of the Minister of Health (Miss M. B. Howard).
Congratulations to Mr L. C. Gardiner on his appointment to the Sheep Industry Commission were extended at a meeting of the North Canterbury executive of Federated Farmers yesterday. Mr C. J. Cutler, curator of the Wellington zoo, has advised the City Council that he has declined the appointment offered as director of the Melbourne zoo. The offer of the directorship in Melbourne was made to him last month.—(PA.)
