Sir, —Replying to “R.W.,” Great Britain defends the old pure vision of Jerusalem redeemed. In Palestine the I Arabs hope that the British will keep what they have cohquered. They will ! not approve Jewish independence for I Palestine, but will support as far as ; they can Jewish infiltration, if it is I behind a British, as opposed to an I international Communist facade. The British quota is generous, and fresh arrivals in Palestine must be screened. Indiscriminate penetration of Palestine by Jews with terror and force is a method Hitler used, and has only one meaning. It is realised that Jewish imperialism will flourish under lhe protection of any Power on condition that the Power shall not show mercy to the Arab population.
