LONDON, August 26. The “Evening News’ says that Mr Churchill has delivered 1,250,000 words of his political history of the past decade to his London publishers, Cassell and Company. The date of publication of the first volume is not yet known. , Fees paid for the- republication rights exceed all previous experience in the book and newspaper world. Mr Henry Luce (publisher of “Time,” I “Life,” and “Fortune”) is paying ' £250,000 for the American rights alone, and the Dominion rights are I expected to bring in another £lOO,OOO. A Danish newspaper has just paid £17,000 for the republication rights in Denmark. It is expected that wor?d rights in all countries will bring in | £500,000.
