YESTERDAY IN THE HOUSE
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, August 26. The House of Representatives sat to-day for less than three hours ana listened to only two speeches, the speeches opening the Budget debate which may last several weeks. The first speaker was the Leader of the Opposition (Mr S G. Holland), and he was followed by the Minister oi Industries and Commerce <Mr A.
