FILM “OLYMPIA”
PROCEEDS FOR «FOOD FOR BRITAIN ” CAMPAIGN
Considerable interest is already being taken in th*» announcement that the proceeds for the film “Olympia” will be devoted entirely to the “Food for Britain” campaign. The picture will be shown at the Regent Theatre for two weeks, commencing on September 12. Apart from the sporting interest in the film, there is an excellent example of perfect production and unexcelled photography. The film opens With announcers, speaking in several languages, declaring the 1936 Olympia Games opened, and then follow several scenes of the representatives of different countries at practice and in their living quarters in their special Olympic village. The picture of the 1500 metres, won by J. E. Lovelock, will hold most interest for New Zealanders.
