The Chief Postmaster at Christchurch (Mr D. R. Thomson), has advised that both urgent private telegrams and urgent press telegrams wi’* be accepted for Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and British colonies, at the rates indicated in the Post and Telegraph Guide, from September 1. The service to Fiji will be limited meantime to traffic to Suva only.
