GREEK REPLY TO BULGARIA

PRESENCE OF TROOPS ON BORDER (Rec. 7 p.m.) ATHENS, August 24. The Greek authorities have denied the Bulgarian statement that Greek forces had taken up positions on the frontier. The Greek statement said that agreed permanent positions had been maintained. A Greek news agency report savs that a Greek guerrilla admitted to the United Nations Balkan sub-commis-sion that his group crossed the Jugoslav frontier to get arms and food and that wounded guerrillas were sent back to Jugoslavia. Guerrillas have attacked Nigrita, in northern Macedonia, for the .second time in a week. Nigrita is reported to be in flames after heavy fighting throughout the night.
