A communique from the joint Pakistan-Indian military forces states that many villages and cities are ™ battered that they look as though armies had fought through them. Reuters correspondent says that the Situation is ompßcated by the flow of hundreds of thousands of refugees whom the Punjab Boundary Force is unable to feed.
