WOMEN’S CULTURAL EXHIBITION
Miss S. A. Roscoe, tutor from the Adult Education Department of Canterbury University College, visited Ashburton’ to discuss the programme in the women’s literary and cultural exhibition sponsored by the Co-ordin-ating Committee of Women’s Institutes and Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, to be held at Ashburton from October 7 to 9. An instructive programme has been planned. Lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and exhibitions by experts will be features of each day. Included in the schedule are displays of arts and crafts, articles of pioneer interest, and round table discussions by women of several nationalities.
