Two Small Fires.— Calls to two small fires were received by the Christchurch Fire Brigade yesterday. The first, at 6.2 p.m., was to a fire among some gorse and broom at Clifton terrace, Sumner. No damage was done. A chimney fire at 33 Cowlishaw street, Avonside, in a house occupied by Richard Bennett, was extinguished when the brigade was called at 7.55 p.m.
