PIGEON FLYING
CANTERBURY CLUBS During the coming pigeon flying season, the programme will be adjusted sc that all races will be flown on tne open system with no sections, and on a guaianteed prize system. This was decided at tne annual meeting of the Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club. Old bird racing will extend to the East Cape in the North Islar-a and to Invercargill in the south. Young bird racing will cover the north route as far as Blenheim. Officers for the new yeaY were elected as followspatron, Mr G. Robertson: vice-patrons, 27 were elected; president. Mr M.
