It has an easy cruising speed of 60 miles an hour, is equipped with a silent third gear, and develops over 50 brake horse power. Very few cars could pass the Flying Standard on hills. The car is also equipped with full five-seater body and is upholstered with highest quality furniture hide. A centre arm rest in the back seat is an added comfort when carrying two passengers in the rear. The planar independent wheel suspension increases the roadability and comfort by 100 per cent., and also adds to the life of the tyres. All unnecessary weight has been scientifically eliminated with this post-war model and the long flowing lines give it a very modem appearance.
