FILM INDUSTRY BOARD
INDEPENDENT EXHIBITORS ELECTED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. August 22. The recent election of two independent exhibitors to the Film Industry Board resulted in Messrs C. E. Carleton (Christchurch) and H. F Guy (Kaikohe) being returned at the head of the poll. These two candidates were nominees of independent exhibitors in the New Zealand Motion Picture Exhibitors’ Association.
Voting was as follows:—Mr Carleton 145 Mr Guy 142. Mr E. R. Greenfield 140. and Mr D. A. Turner 134 The poll for the term of office was
as follows:—one year 152, three years 111. Messrs Greenfield and Turner were nominees of the New Zealand Independent Cinemas’ Association.
