NOBEL PRIZE FOR LITERATURE
(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. August 1. The Stockholm radio announced that the 1947 Nobel Prize for Literature has been unanimously awarded to Maria Brekker, a 28-year-old Norwegian author, for her book. “Mother Mary,” an intimate story of the every-day life of the Holy Family.
