£4OO COSTS AWARDED TO MR A. C. BAXTER, M.P. » WELLINGTON, July 29. The full judgment of the Electoral Court on the Raglan petition was issued to-day. It comprises 56 typewritten foolscap pages and awards costs amounting to more than £4OO and witnesses’ expenses in respect of ol 4 successful objections to the respondent (Mr A. C. Baxter, M.P.). On May 14 the Court delivered its finding that Alan Cheyne Baxter was duly returned for the Raglan electorate i b 7 , 13 votes and stated that it would later deliver a judgment in writing with full reasons for its deterimnations.
