SNAKES FOR ZOO AT MELBOURNE
PART OF CARGO ON SHIP AT AUCKLAND (P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 28. Rattlesnakes, * deadly moccasin snakes, king cannibal snakes, gila monsters, and alligators are among the eargj carried by -the Marine Phoenix which called at Auckland to-day on her from San Francisco to Sydney. They are gifts from American oos 4 and are being taken to Australia _ Flea y> director of the Sir Cohn MacKenzie Sanctuary at the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, Melbourne.
