IMPROVEMENTS OF STREET
CITY COUNCIL’S SCHEDULES Schedules for kerbing and channelling costing £l5OO and for asphalting at the same figure were approved by the Christchurch City Council last evening on the recommendation of the works committee. The schedules were:— Kerbing and Channelling.—Page’s road (Rudd’s-Junction) £lBO, Rudd’s road (Junction-Page’s) £9O, Junction street (Page’s-Rudd’s) £l2O, Shirley road (north of Hills road) £l2O, Shirley road (Quinn’s-Marshland) £270, Heathcote street (off Ferry road) £7O, Clarendon terrace (Railway-Opawa road) £l4O, Rookwood avenue completion £225, Park road (SihclairDennitt) £255. Asphalting—Page’s road (Rudd’sJunction) £l2O, Rudd’s road (Junc-tion-Page’s) £65, Junction afreet (Page’s-Rudd’s) £BO, Shfrley road (north of Hills road) £BO,.
