Under Section 52 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926, a separate HOSPITAL RATE of l/2d in the £ upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property in the County of 3. Under”’Section 125 of the Counties • Act, 1920, a SPECIAL WORKS RATE of l/2d in the £ upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property in the special area described in the minutes of the Council, dated October 2nd, 1922. 4. Under Sections 56 and 61 of the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, and by direction of the Malvern Electric Power Board the BOARD'S SEPARATE RATE of 7/32d in the £ upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Selwyn Constituent District. 5. Under Section 21 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, a SPECIAL RATE of l/20d in the £ upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Dunsandel Hall and Library Special Rating Area. 6. Under Section 96 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and by direction of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, the BOARD’S RATE of l/40d in the £ upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Selwyn. 7. Under Sections 86 and 96 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, SEPARATE RATES, levied by special order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board covering land in the Selwyn River Control Scheme area as classified, being Class A, .680 d in the £. and Class E, J272d in the £. B—WATER CHARGES UNDER THE WATER SUPPLY ACT, 1908, Section 38: 8. In compliance with a Special Order passed by the Council on August 11. 1930, Water Charges in the Downs Road Water Supply District as set out in the Water Supply By-law, 1930. 9. In compliance with a Special Order passed by the Council on November i, 1936, Water Charges in the Snowdoh Water Race District as set out In the Water Supply By-law, 1936, No. 2. 10. In compliance with a Special Order passed by the Council on July Ist, 1946, Water Charges in the Hororata Water Race District as set out in the Water Supply By-law, 1946, No. 1.
