REOPENING OF BATHS SUGGESTED

The reopening of the Tepid Baths as from September 1 was suggested at the City Council’s meeting last evening by the chairman of the baths committee (Cr. R. G. Brown). He said the request was a justifiable one in view of the reassuring statement on the power situation made by the chairman of the electricity committee (Cr. F. S. Wilding). Swimming people were entitled to some let-up at the first opportunity.
