WINTER TOURNAMENT Winter tennis matches were continued at Wilding Park on Saturday. Results were as follows: South Brighton I v. South Brighton II Singles.—R. A. H. Howe lost to A. R. There are brilliant splashes of colour in the Townend house at the Cnristchurch Botanic Gardens. A new isplay of cineraria and primula has been arranged in banked formation. The cinerarias include a wide range of colours in modern large-flowered varieties. The primula shades are mauve.
