CANADIAN DAVIS CUP TEAM
VANCOUVER, July 25. Henri Rochon. Gordier Macneil, and E. J. Lanthier. all from Montreal, were chosen to-day for the Canadian Davis Cup team to play Australia at Montreal on August 7. Rochon will play in the singles. He is Quebec and Ontario singles champfen. Macneil and Lanthier. who won the doubles championships of Quebec and Ontario, will play in the Davis Cup doubles. Brendan Macken. of Montreal, who is first in Canada’s latest rankings, will play the 1940 Canadian champion, Don McDairmid. of Ottawa, to-morrow, to decide which of the two will be the second singles player.
