RON TONKS TO BE MATCHED WITH HANSEN
Ron Tonks, the Ashburton boxer, who recently took out a professional licence, will be matched with Billy Hansen at Timaru in August, according to a decision made this week by the Timaru Boxing Association. In his first fight as a professional, Tonks beat Bennet, of Auckland, a former Navy champion.
