COUNTIES AND MOTOR UNION
The secretary of the South Island Motor Union, Mr P. Harvey, said yesterday that the union wished to make it clear that at its last meeting it had agreed to co-operate with the Counties’ Association only if they agreed to the abolition of the 4d war tax and to the 4d depression tax being transferred to (he Highways Fund for roading.
