STOCK EXCHANGES FIRM BUT QUIETER CONDITIONS Firm but quieter conditions prevailed on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. There was a moderate turnover in fair range of stocks. Goldsbrough Mort were again active and fractionally firmer. On reported dealings, gains succeeded losses, and Canterbury Farmers’ Co-oper-ative moved up 6d and New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative (A preference) Is.
