CYCLIST INJURED When he struck a stationary motorcar, a cyclist suffered head injuries yesterday, and was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 3.55 p.m. He was John Donald Baird, aged 20, of 22 Grafton street, Sumner. His condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory. CAR DAMAGED IN COLLISION WITH LORRY A motor-car was badly damaged yesterday in a collision with a six-ton, 10wheeled lorry, but no one was injured. The accident occurred about 5.45 p.m. on the corner of Matipo street and Blenheim road, lower Riccarton. The car was driven by Kelvin Bryon Stocker, of 460 Gloucester street, and the lorry by James Dyer Balloch, 46 Wainui street, Riccarton.
