MOTOR-CYCLE TRIALS HELD AT HALSWELL
One of the most strenuous trials of the season, consisting mostly of mud and water sections, was held by the Pioneer Motor Club, in the Halswell district on Sunday. N. Pierson lost 35 points in the championship and 68 in the handicap; K. Gardiner 67 and 78: G. Dennison, 45 and 89; R. Eritwhistle. 75 and 97; B. Gearry, 90 and 101; H. Mason, 83 and 105; P. Phillips, 53 and 108.
