MAKING CAMP LIFE ATTRACTIVE

SINGLE CUBICLES FOR SOLDIERS Corporals and other ranks on the staff of No. 3 Ordnance Depot at Burnham have single cubicles. These bedrooms are furnished with a stretcher with wire mattress, a tallboy, and chair. The senior non-commissioned officers have bedrooms slightly more elaborately furnished, and their sit-ting-room is next to the dining-room. The sitting-room for the corporals and other ranks is in a separate building. Wash-hand basins and showers are fitted in the same building as the cubicles. These conditions are confined at present to the ordnance staff. The buildings were erected before the war.
