MINING RETURNS
Kanieri-Arahura.—The two dredging units of Gold Mines of New Zealand, Ltd., during the last month won a total of 1013 ounces of gold in spite of power restrictions cutting down their working time considerably. Arahura won 443 ounces from 94,000 yards in 160 hours, and Ranieri 590 ounces from 289,000 yards in 418 hours. Slab Hut Dredgp.—Last week the dredge won 18 ounces of gold from 20,000 yards in 122 hours. Sales of Mining Stock Reported from London.—Broken Hill North, 33s 4Jd; Zinc Corporation, 97s 9Jd (ex div.); New Broken Hill, 3,0 s 3d; Mount Morgan, 6s 9d.—(P.A.)
