LARGE PRESS FOR CHRISTCHURCH WORKS.—This all-steel bending press arrived from Australia yesterday for installation in the new factory of a Christchurch firm. It will be used in the mass production of stainless steel appliances. The machine, which is the largest of its kind in New Zealand, weighs about 10 tons. It is 10ft high by 15ft wide and 9ft deep.
