PARTY DECLARED ILLEGAL
COMMUNISTS IN BRAZIL (Ree. 8.30 p.m.) RIO DE JANEIRO, May 7. On a Government petition the Brazilian Supreme Electoral Tribunal to-day ruled the Communist Party Police immediately occupied Communist headquarters and branches throughout the country, and the President (General Dutra) suspended for six months the Communist-supported Brazilian Workers’ Confederation.
