EMIGRANTS TO NEW ZEALAND
LARGE SUMS OF MONEY BEING TRANSFERRED (Special Correspondent N*J>.A.) LONDON, May 7. Inquiries Indicate that larae sums of money are being transferred to New Zealand by those planning to emigrate. Information from one source alone is that over £1.000.000 has already been sent by people who have already arrived, and others who are still waiting to leave England. One man is reported to have sent £250,000. Among the many English people who intend to settle in New Zealand is Mr J. E. Brawn, who. since he was demobilised from the Royal Marines, has been working on the farm of his friend. Mr J. W. Tomkins, near Peterborough. Mr Tomkins recently sowed wheat by aircraft.
